
On Friday, April 21, The Adams Central Symphonic Sound capped off a successful concert band season with a Gold rating at the ISSMA contest and earned a Gold rating in sight reading as well!!


4th grade students had a visit from the McMillen Health Center to learn about healthy habits.

On Tuesday (Apr.25) at 5pm, the students going to Costa Rica in 2024 are selling Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and Crumbl cookies. They will have a table set up outside the elementary office for walk up and drive thru service. All proceeds will go toward students expenses.

Congrats to the 2023 Indiana SkillsUSA Gold medal (1st place) Automated Manufacturing Tech team: William Mawhorr (SA), Mark McKinley (SA), and Keaton Bush (AC). They qualified to compete at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference June 19-23, 2023 in Atlanta.



Kindergarten had a special guest dog trainer from Fetch K9 come to talk about her job. She brought along an extra special visitor to demonstrate. The kindergartners loved it and learned a lot.

Good morning, today is Wednesday, April 5, 2023. The National Weather Service continues to forecast a high likelihood that our area will experience severe weather conditions. After consulting with county officials this morning, it has been decided that Adams Central will close today and move to virtual learning. All after school events will also be cancelled. The safety of our students, staff, and families will always be our top priority.

During Agriculture Awareness Week, 4th grade students learned about agriculture from special guest speaker, Mr. Kohlhagen, and enjoy a pizza party!


Mrs. Disinger's nutrition class explored foods around the world and shared their learning with a culture walk. Students had posters and food setup for others to come and learn about food from other countries.











Painting II and III students learned how to mix acrylic paint and floetrol additive to create pour paintings and silicone oil to create paint cells. This activity teaches students to let go of control and let the creativity flow with the movement of the paint on their canvas.
