Students from the Adams Central High School Band had an outstanding showing at the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Solo & Ensemble State Finals, earning multiple top honors for their performances.
The Clarinet Choir earned a Gold Rating with Distinction, one of the highest honors awarded at ISSMA Solo & Ensemble. This distinction indicates the performance scored within one and a half points of a perfect score.
The Saxophone Choir also received a Gold Rating with Distinction, placing their performance within one and a half points of a perfect score.
Thank you to the community for its continued support as these students continue to break new records for Adams Central and set the standard of musical excellence in our community.

It’s School Social Worker Week, and we are so grateful for ours! School social workers play a vital role in supporting:

Students — helping them navigate challenges, build coping skills, and access resources that support their well‑being and success.

Staff — offering guidance, collaboration, and insight to help create a positive, supportive learning environment.

Families & Community — connecting them with services, strengthening communication, and ensuring every child has what they need to thrive.

We thank Mrs. Megan Ross-Espinosa for the work and dedication she has shown for our students at Adams Central. We also want to thank Miss Maddy DeRoo for her work with the S.O.A.R program and as an intern while completing her Master's.

Adams Central has once again been designated a Heart Safe School for the next two years! We passed our drill and evaluation with flying colors, and our evaluator was extremely impressed, stating that AC is one of the best and most prepared schools they have worked with. Not only were staff able to answer questions about preparedness, but the evaluator also asked some of our high school students where AEDs can be found or what they would do if someone needed medical assistance. They absolutely excelled, answering every question with confidence and enthusiasm. We want to thank Nurse Donna for her dedication to ensuring that we are prepared for emergencies. We also want to thank the team of staff and administrators who volunteered for the first response team, as well as the collaboration with the Monroe Fire First Responders and Adams County EMS.

Today, during high school lunch, a staff member used their Centigix alert system badge to request assistance and inadvertently triggered a lockdown. The lockdown lasted approximately 20 minutes. Per school policy, local police officers were quickly on the scene to help school administration end the lockdown by checking in with each classroom to inform them that the lockdown was over. Minimal disruption to classes took place, and high school students returned to class after lunch. We take the safety of your children to be our utmost priority at Adams Central.

Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! Rain or shine, Adams Central's crossing guards are there to keep our students safe. Thank you for your time and dedication in a position that can be challenging, as students come from different directions, the weather, and heavy traffic during drop-off and pick-up times. We appreciate you!

A group of 5th grade students, consisting of Alli Baker, Jaxsen Chew, Harper Wilder, Isaiah Wilder, and Easton Ripley, presented to the 5th grade teachers, Mrs. McCullough, Mr. Richey, Miss Megan Ross-Espinosa, and Mr. McClure. They had an idea to help improve 5th grade behavior by having a Jet Cart. Students in the 5th grade would cash in their Jet Fuel tickets or DoJos for incentives from the Jet Cart. The group was successful, and their idea was approved!
