Placing gold in ISSMA’s Piano and Vocal competition on Saturday were Anna Leyse in vocals and Josie Shoaf and Macy Isch in piano. Both Anna and Josie competed in Group 1 and advanced to State ISSMA on February 17.

This is only a drill! Members of the Heart Safe team held a practice drill. When someone came across the unconscious victim, they alerted the rapid response team consisting of trained staff members throughout Adams Central. The responding team began emergency protocols. The EMS and Fire First Responders were on site to assist with the drill. It was an intense practice, but the team is ready for certification day! Note:
In an emergency such as this, students are held in the classrooms to keep everyone safe and ensure there is room to care for the victim.

Adams Central is running a Heart Safe drill tomorrow (Wed, Jan 31) in preparation for our certification in late February. An EMS and fire first responders will be at the school during the drill tomorrow. This notification is to ensure everyone that this will only be a drill.
