Good luck to the band students at their ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Competition this Saturday! We have 24 MS soloists, 13 HS soloists and 34 total ensemble members who will be competing at this event!

In preparation for scheduling classes, 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit various classrooms to learn about the CTE (Career and Technical Education) programs available at Adams Central.

Catching up with New Jets: Desteny Hurley has joined the elementary school staff as a kindergarten aide.

The bowling team wrapped up with a celebration of their season. The team and parents wanted to give a special shout-out to Ms. Everett for starting the program at Adams Central to provide this opportunity for students.

Congratulations to Macy Isch and Esther Crandall, who received gold ratings in their piano competitions at ISSMA this weekend. Esther competed in group 1 and will attend the State ISSMA competition on February 22.


Due to the forecasted freezing rain and ice, Adams Central will be on a 2 hour delay for Thursday, February 6 to allow for conditions to improve. Roads will be evaluated throughout the morning. Catching up with New Jets: Madison DeRoo has joined the elementary school staff as a behavior intervention instructor.

The BPA Shoe Drive will continue through February. They need your help collecting gently used, clean shoes. They are 1/3 of the way to the goal of 120 bags!! Shoes can be dropped off in the offices or sent in with students.

Reminder: 8th Grade Parent Night is Thursday (Feb.6) in the cafeteria. Two sessions will start at 5:00 pm and again at 6:30 pm. If you have questions, contact the guidance office at 692-1112.

Did you know that the elementary music room collects gently used AC apparel? These items are given to students and families in our community. Donations can be dropped off at the elementary office or taken to the music room.

Thanks to the PTO for a rad 80's Tall and Small Ball. A totally tubular time was had by all!










Catching up with New Jets: Christina Alana has joined the middle/high school staff as a special education assistant.

Emilee is an 8th grader working hard to prepare her flute solo for the upcoming ISSMA contest. The 5th grade woodwinds class listened to Emilee play her solo and ask her questions about the flute and what band is like in middle school! Afterward, she worked with our flute students on their band karate recordings.
