
4th grade students had fun performing at their Indiana History program.











After learning about the three branches of government, 4th graders listened to Mayor Sprunger of Berne as he talked about his job, local government, answered questions, and weighed in on the chicken nugget vs chicken tender debate. Chicken tenders are superior in his book!


On May 4, several Adams Central High School students were honored by by the Decatur Rotary for their extraordinary scholastic and intellectual achievement. Congratulations to these students on their hard work.


Mrs. Herring’s exchange student (Giorgi) is heading home soon. He came to class to answer questions about his country. He also showed them how to write and say the 33 letters in the Georgian alphabet!


Need a dinner idea for tonight? Come out and support the students going on the Costa Rica Educational Tour in 2024. Back by high demand are Chick-fil-a and Crumbl cookies! They will be available outside of the elementary office starting at 5pm.

Trace and Jude cashed in their auction prize from the PTO Basketball Bash. They each got to ride to school with an officer from the Adam's County Sheriff's Department!

Adams Central Elementary had a special guest last Tuesday! Blue from the Colts came to visit and talk about being the best you can be!







Adams Central MS competed in the Indiana Academic Super Bowl Regional Competition at Blackhawk Middle School on April 29.

Students in Mrs. Herring's class performed songs and nursery rhymes for their parents and then parents enjoyed participating in different centers with their students.







Congratulations to Quincy Wolpert and Brianna Cook for being named prom King and Queen. As part of the honor, they got to visit a Kindergarten class!




Third grade had guest speaker, Duane Rekeweg, who is a local bee keeper. In honor of Arbor Day, he shared about the importance of bees for our flowers, plants, and trees.




In Child Development, students are learning about dealing with emotions in toddlers. As a way to work through the emotions they created a story line and puppets based on emotions and how to handle those emotions.




Due to an overwhelming response, Chick-Fil-A and Crumbl Cookies will be back on Thursday (May 11) at 5pm! Drive through and walk up service will be by the elementary office. Larger quantities have been ordered! Proceeds support the students going to Costa Rica in 2024.


The kindergarten program "Welcome to the Jungle" will be this Tuesday (May 9) at 6:30pm in the Hangar (basketball gym).

There will be a Q & A session for anyone interested in hosting an exchange student. It will be Tuesday, May 16 at 6:30pm in the Adams Central Middle/High School library.


Mrs Yoder’s class showed their entrepreneurial skills that they learned through the Junior Achievement program and history unit on businesses.
