The middle school wrestling meet for tonight (Wed. Feb. 28) against Maplecreek has been pushed back 30 minutes and will now start at 5:30pm.
Tickets go on sale Friday for the middle school semi-formal which will be Sat. Mar. 9 at 7pm. Tickets are $5 and will be sold during lunch.

The 6th grade Lady Jets brought home 1st place at the Lady Rebel Spring Shoot Out 2024 in Randolph County. The competition was fierce, but the team played well and dominated the court under Tim Hildebrand's coaching.

Reminder: Adams Central Elementary is hosting a STEM family night for grades 3-5 on Tuesday, March 5 from 5:30 pm-7pm. Reservations are due by Tuesday (Feb. 27).

Adams Central will run a heart-safe drill as part of our testing certification on Monday, February 26, in the morning. An EMS and fire first responders will be on the scene for the certification test. This is not a real emergency.

Looking directly at the sun can cause severe long-term consequences. The week prior to the solar eclipse, every Adams County student will receive a pair of eclipse-safe glasses. They are provided by a generous donation from the Adams County Community Foundation. Adults planning to watch the eclipse must also use American Astronomical Society approved glasses. Visit https://eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety/viewers-filters to view the AAS approved vendor list to ensure you obtain glasses with the necessary eye protection. Both the Adams Public Library and the Berne Library will also have some free glasses available for distribution. Thanks again to the ACCF for contributing to student safety!
The cafeteria staff felt loved on Wednesday when 3rd grader Lydia Bollenbacher brought them socks and chocolates for Valentine's Day.

Wade Maller wrote an essay about the American Flag and received the American Legion Flag Education Award. Wade received his award at a 4th grade presentation from representatives of the American Legion. Wade will attend an honor dinner in March as part of the award.

Today is National School Resources Officer Appreciation Day. SROs are an integral part of keeping our school safe. Thank you, Officer Mendoza!
