Adams Central Community Schools is a high-performing public school district located in the small, rural community of Monroe, Indiana. Just 25 miles south of Fort Wayne, Adams Central offers a small-town environment with convenient access to the social and cultural opportunities of one of Indiana’s largest cities.

Adams Central serves approximately 1,375 students in grades Pre-K through 12 and is situated on a unified campus that houses our elementary, middle, and high schools. This close-knit structure fosters a strong sense of community and continuity within the educational environment.

Adams Central is recognized for academic excellence, including a 100% graduation rate for the class of 2023. Dedicated teachers instruct smaller classes, allowing a more personalized learning environment. Over half of our faculty hold advanced degrees and specialized certifications, further supporting a culture of high expectations and achievement.

Despite the smaller size, Adams Central offers students many academic opportunities. Several AP and dual credit courses are offered, and Adams Central High School earned a silver recognition on the 2024 AP School Honor Roll. CTE programs in advanced manufacturing, agriculture, biomedical, fashion and textiles, and a membership with the Area 18 vocational cooperative offer many hands-on learning opportunities for students. Students further benefit from partnerships with many local businesses for work-based internships.

Beyond academics, Adams Central offers a variety of extracurricular and co-curricular programs, including band, FFA, BPA, academic teams, robotics, and the Sunshine Society. The Marching band, FFA (Future Farmers of America), and BPA (Business Professionals of America) programs are strong and active, with students regularly advancing to state and national competitions.

Our athletics teams—known as the Jets— are a source of pride within the school and community. Many teams and athletes have made it past regular season competitions, with our football team earning state championships in football in 2000 and 2024.
