Move to Virtual Learning

PUBLIC NOTICE

Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020

Adams Central Parents,

As you are all aware, we are monitoring both positive cases as well as quarantine COVID-19 cases daily.  Although we still only have two (2) positive student cases in our district, we have quarantined over eighty (80) of our students.

After consulting with our local School Board and Dr. Ainsworth, the Adams County Health Official, we are all in complete agreement that our preventative next steps will be to convert to virtual education in the short term.

Adams Central students will begin virtual learning starting Monday, October 12 and will continue through Thursday, October 22.  This will take us up to Fall Break which will begin on Oct. 23.   Students will return to "in-school" instruction on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Other information regarding curbside lunch pickup, school assignments, and topics of information regarding the move to virtual education will be posted on the school website and other social media accounts.

Thank you,

Joel D. Mahaffey, Superintendent
